The PCAM evaluates trainees in the practicum aspects of training within Master of Professional Psychology programs. It uses a categorical competence scale designed for the specific practicum context of MPP placements.

The PCAM uses a categorical scale for supervisors to evaluate competence levels across 14 domains:

* Supervisors select one out of the two domains to be assessed.
Mid and End Placement modules
The Placement Review platform offers supervisors from subscribing institutions both Mid and End Placement Review PCAM modules. Reports are released to trainees at the supervisor's discretion.
Self-assessments are not currently part of PCAM (MPP) placement reviews — they are available for VMAT-CΨPRS (Clinical Psychology) placement reviews only.
